Station Guidelines
1.
Please be dressed appropriately for
service
2.
Be sure to pick up your name badge
from the check-in station and arrive at your station within 20-30 minutes
before service begins and return it once your shift ends.
3.
Make sure the room is clean and ready
to receive children.
4.
Please be sure to thoroughly wash your
hands before caring for babies in the nursery AND after each diaper
change.
5.
Anything babies put in their
mouths/spit up on etc. can simply be wiped clean with baby wipes that’s
provided in the classroom after service.
6.
Do not use any items in the
cabinets/drawers within the room that are not labeled Kidzville.
7.
Do not use anything in or on the
teacher’s desk in the room. And do not alter the marker board in the room
nor play with the mats.
8.
All children who are of the age of 3
or 4 who are not potty trained are not permitted to be in this classroom
unless they have a medical condition
9.
When supplies are low in the room,
please notify your nursery coordinator.
10.
When a child
cannot get settled, please notify your Nursery Coordinator or one of the
ushers in the front doorway of
Big Church with the child’s
id number so that they can make preparations to notify the parent.
11.
If you have a child who is having
behavioral problems
a.
the child is to receive two “tickets”
(warnings) before going to time out
b.
if you continue
to have problems with the child after time out, please notify your Nursery
Coordinator or one of the ushers in the front doorway of
Big Church with the child’s
id number so that they can make preparations to notify the parent.
12.
NEVER LEAVE YOUR ROOM UNATTENDED
13.
If any child shows symptoms of
sickness or illness, please have the parent notified immediately so that
they can pick up their child. And the child is not to be allowed back
into the classroom until the child is well.
14.
If you have any questions regarding
anything, please contact your Nursery Coordinator.
15.
When the parent/guardian comes to pick
up their child, please be sure to make sure each child receives their
child, and any bags or belongings of the child.
