Gods Garden Station
Guidelines
1.
Please be dressed appropriately for
service and don’t wear shoes in the room, especially high heels.
2.
Be sure to pick up your name badge
from the check-in station and arrive at your station within 20-30 minutes
before service begins and return it once your shift ends.
3.
Make sure the room is clean and ready
to receive children (vacuuming if needed)
4.
Please be sure to thoroughly wash your
hands (IN THE BATHROOM) before caring for babies in the nursery (the sink
in the classroom is for food preparation only) AND after each diaper
change.
5.
Anything babies put in their
mouths/spit up on/feed on etc. need to be sprayed and wiped clean with
disinfectant spray that’s provided in the classroom after service. And
for toys that are disinfected, please place on the counter so they can
dry.
6.
Any cribs that are used during
service, please take up the sheets after use and place in the laundry bin
that’s provided in the bathroom.
7.
Do not use any items in the cabinets
or drawers in the room that are not labeled Kidzville.
8.
Please be sure to change all babies
before service ends. Even if the child doesn’t need changing.
9.
When changing diapers, please be sure
to wear latex gloves and dispose after use.
10.
After you’re done changing a diaper on
the changing table, please be sure to
a.
spray the table with detergent and
wipe down
b.
then, spray the table with
disinfectant and wipe down
11.
Please throw any dirty diapers in the
gray trash bin with the lid provided in the bathroom.
12.
When supplies are low in the room
(paper towels/baby wipes/latex gloves/snacks), please notify your Nursery
Coordinator.
13.
Do not allow any toys to leave the
room.
14.
When a child
cannot get settled, please notify either your Nursery Coordinator or one
of the ushers in the front doorway of
Big Church with the child’s
id number so that they can make preparations to notify the parent.
15.
NEVER LEAVE YOUR ROOM UNATTENDED
16.
If any child shows symptoms of
sickness or illness, please have the parent notified immediately so that
they can pick up their child. And the child is not to be allowed back
into the classroom until the child is well.
17.
If you have any questions regarding
anything, please contact your nursery coordinator.
18.
Please be sure to fill out the child’s
report card within 10 minutes before the end of service.
19.
When the parent/guardian comes to pick
up their child, please be sure to make sure each child receives their
child, any diaper bags and belongings, along with their report card.
