Our Mission
and Purpose:
To Both Parent and Child (the family)
1.
To see
salvation take place in their lives.
”God wants
all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Tim. 2:3
2.
To teach
the unadulterated, unfiltered Word of God with confidence, hope, love, and
respect.
We have been called to teach:
“Until all come to the unity of the
faith, until all come the knowledge of God, to be perfect and mature to
the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Eph 4:13
“Whosoever does and teaches the
commandments of the Lord, he shall be called great in the kingdom of
heaven.” Matthew 5:19
3.
To
create a ministry place and brand that is trained on the senses of
children with unimaginable thrills, sensations, and a sense of belonging.
4.
To
minister to the heart, the soul, the mind, and the body from a spiritual
and biblical perspective.
These four areas are the Core areas of
Human Development. By focusing our efforts on these Core areas, then and
only then can we fully minister to the child as we have been called to do.
“You shall teach the words of the Lord
to our children, speaking of them when we sit in the house, when we walk
by the way, when we lie down, and when we rise up.” Deut. 11:19
5.
To help
them find their purpose in the body of Christ.
Meaning and purpose in life are developed through a spiritual
understanding of the first and second greatest commandment.
General Mission – “You shall love the
Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind,
and with all your strength.” Mark 12:30
(this is why God put us on the earth)
Unique Mission – “You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.” Mark 12:31
(this is how we can add value to the Kingdom of God)
Also, as stated in Ephesians as teachers,
it is our job to:
“Equip the saints, for the work of
ministry, for the edifying and building up of the body of Christ.” Eph.
4:12
6.
To teach
them the fundamentals of a strong spiritual foundation and biblical
perspective for life.
We make decisions and choices that
are consistent with our perspective. Therefore, it’s important for us to
enable them to think biblically, comprehensively, insightfully, and
practically in regard to any moral, ethical, relational, financial,
political, or spiritual situation in which they find themselves. Here are
the four fundamentals:
A. Relationship with God
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your
soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” Mark 12:30
B. Knowledge of Biblical Content
“do not forget the law of God, but let
your heart keep its commands; for length of days, long life, and peace
they will add to you.” Prov. 3:1-2
C. Application of Biblical Principles
“Train up a child in the way that he
should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Prov. 22:6
“Blessed is the man who delights in the
law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates by talking to himself day and
night.” Psalms 1:1-2
D. A Call to Obedience
“Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Peter
1:16
7.
To
teach them to go and preach the gospel through the power of the Holy
Spirit.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all
the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have
commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20
