WHAT'S COMING SOON TO KIDZVILLE
KIDZVILLE KIDS ROOM MAKEOVER
We are currently in the process of planning an
extreme makeover to the Kidzville Kids Room, which for those of you who
don't know, that room is the Kids Zone Room.
TECHNOLOGY
UPGRADE
We are currently in the process of planning to install flat screen
tv's in both the God's Garden and Sonshine Station rooms. This
will give the teachers in the classroom an opportunity to show dvds and
such to the nursery kids. There will also be a live feed that we
are going to hook up going from the sanctuary to these tv's that will
allow the teachers in these two classrooms to listen to the pastor's
sermon on Sundays.
BABY EINSTEIN DVD
COLLECTION
Kidzville has purchased the Baby Einstein DVD Collection for the
God's Garden Nursery Room. This will give us an opportunity to
help the infants develop their motor skills while in the nursery.
This DVD collection will be used once we have installed the flat screen
tv's.
FLASH CARDS
Kidzville has purchased flash cards for God's Garden and Sonshine
Station Rooms. These cards give the teachers in both these rooms
an opportunity to work with the kids on their object identification and
speech.
CURRICULUM FOR
SONSHINE STATION
We have curriculum we are working on for the Sonshine Station room
that will give the teachers in that classroom on Sunday's an opportunity
to instill, at an early age, the basic Bible stories and lessons of the
Bible. The curriculum will also come along with a coloring picture
which will give the the toddlers an opportunity to work on their basic
motor skills. And the curriculum also will include a take home
picture of the Bible story along with a story line that the parent can
use at home to tell the story again to the child so that the Bible Story
and life lesson are instilled in the child.
POTTY TRAINING
SEAT
While toddlers are in the Sonshine Station, they are at the
appropriate age where they start Potty Training. In order to
assist the parent, we are going to be getting a potty training seat that
we can put on the toilet in the bathroom of the Sonshine Station to make
it easier for the toddler to learn when and where to go.
STAGE LIGHTS IN
THE KIDS ROOM
We are currently in the process of installing to sets of stage
lights in the Kids Zone Room. This will give us an opportunity to
increase the experience and atmosphere of the Kids Room for the Kids
during praise and worship time.
