WHAT'S NEW TO KIDZVILLE
Merge
Merge is a new program to Kidzville that has been designed exclusively for
pre-teen kids of Club 3:16.
Merge is an event that happens every month or so when kids of Club 3:16 and
youth from 24.7 Youth Group "merge" with each other. The event
varies from month to month: from video games or bowling alleys or
just pizza at the church. The program is supposed to give kids of
Club 3:16 an opportunity to connect with others there age while
establishing a relationship Youth Pastor Bryan Cartwright and those in
24.7 Youth Group. This will hopefully make the transition into teen
life a lot smoother when kids of Kidzville turn 13 and move up into 24.7
Youth.
KIDZVILLE BLOGG
The Kidzville Blogg is another way we are using media outlets to
keep our friends out there plugged in. For those of you who
receive our Kidzville Plug email newsletter, the blogg is where you read
our full story update that's featured in the Kidzville Plug. Our
Blogg is also where you can tune into the Daily Devo Broadcast with
Kevin.
VOLUNTEER NEWSLETTER
With all that is happening in Kidzville, we have started sending out
a Volunteer Newsletter once each quarter to keep our volunteers plugged
in with everything going on.
SNACKS FOR SNACK TIME
We are now keeping a regular inventory of Snacks for Cross Town Kids and
Main Street Kids. These snacks are used during snack time on
Sunday morning. You can find these snacks in the Kidzville Cabinet
located in your room each Sunday. We currently rotate each week
between Animal Crackers, Gummies, and Gold Fish.
We will
not be using these snacks on Wednesday Night because the kids are only
here 1 hour. However, any Wednesday Night teachers within these
two groups are more than welcome to use these supplies for special
occasions. Just let your Children's Pastor know show that proper
arraignments can be made.
KIDZVILLE IS NOW ON FACEBOOK
Kidzville is now on Facebook. We have done this for two reasons.
First, we wanted to give everyone at Kidzville an opportunity to look at
photos taken at Kidzville Events. This was the easiest way we were
able to get Kidzville photos online and place them in organize albums in
a fast, convenient, and user friendly manner. And secondly, now Kidzville Parents and
Volunteers are now given an opportunity to network and get to know other
Kidzville members and hopefully build friendships by being friends on
our Facebook.

JUNIOR KIDS CHURCH
Kidzville now offers 3 Kids Church services on Sunday Mornings for
Kidzville Kids. We have 1 Big Kids Church Service for U-turn and
Club 3:16 Kids (for kids ages 8-12/grades 3-5) which goes from
10:30AM-12Noon each Sunday. The other 2 Kids Church Services are
Junior Kids Church Services.
Junior
Kids Church are held in the Kids Zone Room in the Student Building and
is for Cross Town and Main Street Kids. Each Sunday, Cross Town
and Main Street Kids each get a 30 minute time block when they come to
Jr. Kids Church. At Jr. Kids Church, Kids get the opportunity to
experience games, praise and worship, puppets, and a life lesson
devotion all designed to reach the kids on their level.
KIDZVILLE IS NOW ON TWITTER
Kidzville Twitter what??? Twitter is an online application
that helps you find out what's going on in Kidzville. Whenever
Kidzville has an event or happening, or maybe an important announcment,
twitter is another way I'll post it. Another cool thing you can do
is create your own free twitter account and whenever I post something in
Twitter, you'll receive the message.
In
simple terms, this is just another way in addition to Facebook, the
Kidzville Plug Newsletter, Email, Faith Assembly Bulletin and our
Website that we are trying to keep you plugged in and connected with
everything that's going on in Kidzville that may effect you and your
family.

KIDZVILLE PLUG NEWSLETTER
That's right, Kidzville now has its very own e-newsletter which
comes by email once a month. We
just sent out our first issue this past week (July 2nd). I'm going
to try and send the newsletter out by email by the first week of each
month. That way you'll stay "plugged" into everything going on in Kidzville. If you want to receive the Kidzville Plug Newsletter,
then send me your email. Email me at
